King’s Cause

The King’s Cause ministry began in 2001 within their church, singing specials in the worship services.  Then, feeling the call to further their ministry, the Lord began opening doors and has provided wonderful opportunities for this group.  Their mission – to be an encouragement to their brothers and sisters in Christ and to see lost souls saved for the Kingdom of Christ.

In 2005, they were given the opportunity to record and debut their first self-titled CD project.  God has continued to bless their ministry.   In 2006, they recorded their second CD project, “Wonderful Joy, A Collection of Favorites”, in 2007 their third project, “Love, Mercy and Grace”, in 2008, their 4th project, “Because You’re God” and in 2009, their 5th project, “All For the Cause Of Christ”.  They have continued to try to record each year and in 2010 released “I Will See You Again” featuring 11 songs written by lead singer, Mark Blackmon. In 2011 to celebrate 10 years of singing together they released a double CD, “10th Anniversary Collection”, with remakes of some of their most popular songs. Then in 2012, in response to many requests, they recorded a CD of Christmas songs entitled “I Call Him Lord”. The response to all projects has been overwhelming.  They have also had the privilege of being the opening act for some of Southern Gospel’s elite singing groups such as Legacy Five, The Whisnants, The Booth Brothers, Jeff & Sheri Easter, Triumphant Quartet, Jody Brown Indian Family, The Perrys, Greater Vision, Mark Trammell Trio, The Hoppers, Gold City, Guy Penrod, The Isaacs, The McKameys, The Crabb Family, The Kingdom Heirs, The Inspirations and Ivan Parker.  Dennis, Dianne, Beth and Mark are extremely thankful and excited about what God has in store for them and they give Him all the Glory and Honor.

“We want to sing of the wonderful joy that we have in knowing God’s love, mercy and grace, and because He is God, we will lift high the banner of His cross. Jesus alone is our King, therefore, we will give our all for the cause of Christ.” It is all for and because of Christ that they continue in His work.
