Founded in 1888, Women’s Missionary Union is an auxiliary of the Southern Baptist
Convention that seeks to equip adults, youth, children and preschoolers with mission
education to become involved in the mission of God. Headquartered in Birmingham, Ala.,
WMU is a nonprofit organization that offers an array of missions resources including
conferences, ministry ideas and models, volunteer opportunities, curriculum for age-level
organizations, leadership training, books and more.

Women On Mission
These groups offer times for prayer and studies about missions as well as many opportunities to be actively involved in missions both locally and around the world.

The Neely Group – Meets every second Wednesday of each month at 10 AM in the Fellowship Hall.

The Effie Gardner Group – Meets the last Wednesday of each month, which is dedicated to missions for both men and women separately during the prayer service.

Girls in Action
A mission organization for girls in grades 1-6. Meets each Wednesday at 7:15 PM

Mission Friends
A mission organization for preschoolers which meets each Wednesday at 7:15 PM.
